Columbia Falls, Montana is an area that is also known as the “Gateway to Glacier National Park”. It is a pretty small community of approximately 3700 people located just 18 miles south of Glacier National Park’s west entrance. There are a number of areas to park your motor homes or campers while visiting the park, or it makes for a great place to go to in your spare time if you are a year around resident. Between Columbia Falls and west Glacier there are a number of attractions to include a water park with huge water slides for all ages. There are a number of places offering go carts, miniature golf and more for you and the kids. There are even some natural wonders for you to investigate including the House of Mystery, which is said to be one of very few natural “Vortexs” where the trees even grow sideways or have large natural bows in them.
